What is the WORST video game ever made into a sequel?

I already know the answer...NBA Ballers. Dance moves are encouraged to better your score and get the coveted gamebreaker to perform a super move for huge bonus points. You can't make an outside shot whether you are shooting with Ray Allen or Kobe Bryant. Only totally uncontested mid range to inside dunks or layups go in. YOu can purchase clothing jewelery tattos as you advance. Just a totally unrealistic game as far away from a sim game as you can have it. I loved NBA JAM early days this I thought was gonna be the next step IMO it's a huge step back. NBA Street, NBA Ballers, smae idea both pure garbage games. They receive a one rating IMO.

Wait...worst game ever made into a sequel?

or worst sequel for a game?

1. Bloodrayne (hated it, can't believe they made a part 2)

2. Sonic. The series was solid until it went 3D

Umm... NBA Ballers!

Dino Crisis 2 to Dino Crisis 3
Halo 3.

The game was nothing but hype.
Extreme PaintBrawl.

5v5 Capture the Flag first person shooter. Problem is the AI:

1) are perfect shots. Every paintball they fire is aimed perfectly at their target

2) Can see in 360-degrees

3) Run straight ahead and only turn if they see someone to shoot at.

So this results in your team running straight into a wall indefinitely, while you go 1v5 into a nest of snipers. Oh, and the game runs at like 5 frames per second, regardless of how powerful of hardware you have.

The game got a 0.7 from IGN (the lowest rating any game has ever earned on that site). They proceeded to make 3 sequels, each of which got a better score than the previous on, but they never managed to break the 5.0 mark.
I agree with Jay about the Sonic ones... they were SO much fun when it was 2D. I ESPECIALLY liked Sonic 3 and Knuckles Collection... it is still my favorite game. I beat the game with all characters and got the Super Emeralds and had some fun with it, and found almost all (if not all) secrets and glitches in the game, like fighting Metal Robotnik with Knuckles on Carnival Night Stage even though you normally can't! But now that it's 3D... the fun aspect is gone. However, Sonic Adventure 1 is okay... I think that's the only 3D Sonic game I like.

NBA Jam... lol. I played that on my Sega Saturn when I was a kid. Kinda fun... but I don't know what the NBA Ballers are though.

Another one is Smash Bros Brawl... again, the fun factor is out. No wavedashing, no air dodging, tripping (huh?), everyone became much slower, Marth's moveset changed, no Roy (stop saying he sucks or something! Just because he isn't that great of a character to some people doesn't mean that some people can't like him!), and worst of all, no Mewtwo (that's what got me the most... he was my main, and now Lucario who isn't even worth Mewtwo's legendary status took over...). And no downloadable characters to make up for the 35 character roster! Oh yeah... the Stage Builder? Looks fun, but it's not as promising as it looks. The functionalities are TOO limited to even make a fun stage. If there are downloadable stages, why not downloadable character that could be unlocked? Oh well... Brawl is a disappointment for me, but for some others, they love it and they worship Sakurai for making the "right decision" to completely take out Mewtwo and all... and putting Fox along with two clones (everyone tried to murder me when I said Wolf is a Fox clone... but I still think they're ALL very similar) and Ness when Lucas seemed like a perfect replacement for him. I still think Mewtwo was different enough to be put in... and no. He's not Lucario's clone. Maybe he's a Luigified Zelda, but definitely not Lucario. He's Mew's clone ;)

Starcraft II... the one that's coming up... just isn't appealing to me, even though the game is still being balanced. The Zergs (my most hated race) are becoming TOO uber while they are fixing up the Terrans just so it is much easier for them to lose to the Zergs. The Medics are out (replaced with Medivacs?!!!), Vikings are built in Starports... again (WHAT?!!), and worst of all, Banshees lost their AoE (AHHHH!!!) Oh yeah, the Zerg Ultralisk has 600 HP, can burrow, and does splash damage! And they have infestors and corruptors that can take over any of the Terran bases in a matter of minutes... and they'll move while they're burrowed. Still imbalanced, but I guess I'm complaining while the game isn't out yet, so this one shouldn't count.

Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green were not the best remakes of Red Blue and Yellow. Too limited in functionality, if you ask me.

Why Megaman keeps on losing his weapons as you progress through the next game still remains a mystery to me :-/ (Where's your Ice Slasher?!! My Thunder Beam? Fire Storm? Rolling Cutter? :-/) Similarly in Battle Network Series, Lan seems to lose all those great chips he got from the previous games and replaces the folder with that standard CANNONS and RECOVER +10s!! (where is my folderback?!! My Bass chip? My AlphaArmOmega?!! Don't tell me you sold that to Higsby!!) BTW Megaman Battle Network 4 is the WORST Battle Network game ever in my opinion. Also, they did a horrible job at balancing the souls on Red Sun and Blue Moon (Red Sun got the better ones, no doubt, but I'm faithful to Blue Moon...) In fact, all Battle Network after number 3 lost its fun value!

Fire Emblem 8 was nowhere near as fun as Fire Emblem 7, even if they're not in the same universes, the Elibe universe had the most interesting story and all, in my opinion. Fire Emblem 6 (Sealed Sword) was cool too, and 7 (Burning Blade or something... just known as Fire Emblem in USA) looked a lot better, but in 8 (Sacred Stones), it was hard to relate to some of the characters. Hmm...

I don't know what to say anymore, but as time goes by, games always change... and they lose their classic value of fun... :-/
